This privacy policy sets out how The EuropeWave Project (“us”, “we”, or “our”) uses and protects any data that you give when you use this website (the “Website”).

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we shall endeavour to use any data that you provide when using this Website in accordance with this privacy policy.

When using the Website, personal data may be collected from you in various ways, for example:

2. When you voluntarily provide data through the newsletter sign-up form on the Website. The personal data provided by the user will be saved onto the project’s mailing list and used to send you information by email regarding the project. We use this data to understand your need and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

– For statistical purposes and analysis for management purposes, in order to administer the Website or improve our products and services. As EuropeWave is a part EU-funded project, aggregate data will be used for reporting purposes within the framework required by the European Commission. The same aggregate data may also be used by the project partners for their own internal reporting purposes.

This is done through the third-party SquareSpace Analytics. This website collects personal data to power our site analytics, including:

  • Information about your browser, network, and device

  • Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

  • Your IP address

This information may also include details about your use of this website, including:

  • Pages visited

  • Searches

We share this information with Squarespace, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity.

– To contact you directly with latest news. We will not use this data to contact you with regards to anything other than our service offering and this data will not be disclosed to any third party unless you have given your consent to such disclosure.

If the change in our privacy policy affects the use of your personal data we will use our best endeavours to contact you by email to seek your consent to the use.
