Call for independent experts

Independent experts needed to assess applications

EuropeWave is engaging independent experts to take part in the assessment of applications to its PCP programme.

These experts will provide an impartial assessment of the technical and commercial aspects of applications, both to the first phase and the subsequent stages of the programme. They will take part in evaluation committee meetings, and provide feedback and analysis of the applications.

The call for independent experts is now closed. Many thanks to those who submitted an application - you will be notified in due course of the outcome.

Profile of an independent expert

• Detailed knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering design processes;

• Technical understanding of marine energy devices (especially wave energy devices);

• Track record of involvement in complex engineering projects/programmes, particularly with marine renewable technologies;

• Critical assessment of technology development proposals.

Important: Independent experts must also be free of any conflict of interest that could prevent a fair and objective assessment of offers.
