EuropeWave Phase 2 winners in the spotlight at ICOE-OEE 2022 conference

EuropeWave side event at ICOE-OEE 2022 on 18 October

EuropeWave side event was successfully held during the ICOE-OEE 2022 conference on 18 Oct 2022. The event was well attended, gathering participants from ocean energy developers to value chain suppliers and marine energy researchers.

The side event showcased the five wave energy projects selected for Phase 2 of EuropeWave’s Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) funding programme. The winning developers showcased their project work, lessons learnt during Phase 1, and highlighted their milestones to achieve in the next phase.

Some of the contractors also presented in the conference main programme. Carnegie, presented in the Off-grid markets – ocean energy labs for scaling up session, IDOM Consulting and Mocean Energy presented in the Tech Showcase - The rise of Wave Energy session, and IDOM Consulting had a second presentation in the Innovating in ocean energy testing session.
